I see the north side of Col Visentin every working day; in winter the south side is warm and the wind isn't annoying, moreover in a windy day the landscape from the top is beautiful, the Dolomites on one side, the plain and the sea on the other side.
Vedo il lato nord del Col Visentin tutti i giorni feriali; in inverno lato sud è caldo e il vento non è fastidioso, inoltre in una giornata di vento il panorama dalla cima è bello, le Dolomiti da un lato, la pianura ed il mare dall'altro lato.

I love the film "Nausicaä della Valle del Vento" as I wrote (and pedalled) here. The descent from the ridge of Col Visentin happens on a grassy steep slope and in my mind I associated it with the prophecy of a saviour "clothed in blue robes, descending onto a golden field".
Adoro il film "Nausicaä della Valle del Vento", mentre ho scritto (e pedalato) qui. La discesa dalla cresta del Col Visentin avviene su un ripido pendio erboso e nella mia testa l'ho associato con la profezia di un salvatore "vestito in abiti blu, scendendo su un campo dorato".

Geological Curiosity: Near Serravalle it's possible to see the spings of Meschio river, it's a remarcable karst spring, it is the underground drainage of the massif of Col Visentin.
Curiosità geologica: Vicino Serravalle è possibile vedere le sorgenti del fiume Meschio, è una sorgente carsica notevole, infatti è il drenaggio sotterraneo del massiccio del Col Visentin.
